Steve has worked in construction for more than 25 years, building and finishing both commercial projects and custom homes. His passion has always been in the details. Finish work became his specialty because he loves seeing a project come together with precision and care. There’s nothing more satisfying to him than transforming raw materials into something beautiful and lasting.

Krystal has always had a creative eye. With a background in banking, operations, quality control, and design-focused work, she brings organization, attention to detail, and a natural sense of style to every piece. She has long enjoyed crafting, decorating, and creating warm, welcoming spaces in her own home.

In 2021, after launching their construction business and spending years building homes for others, they began exploring how to combine their talents on a smaller, more personal scale. What started with custom pieces for their own home quickly turned into a deeper love for woodworking projects designed to bring character and warmth into everyday spaces.

Today, Sign Ridge Woodworks focuses on handcrafted wood creations made with care, quality materials, and an emphasis on detail. Every piece reflects Steve’s craftsmanship and Krystal’s finishing touch, blending strength, structure, and style.
